Top 10 Ports in the World

Seven of the top ten busiest ports in the world are based in China. The only three ports outside of China that has made it to this list is Singapore, Busan (Korea) and Jebel Ali (UAE). Ten years ago, only three Chinese ports made to this list. The sheer size of China's domination of the world trade and the growth they have been able to achieve can be visualized from this statistics. The only port outside of the Asia pacific region in the Top 10 list is Jebel Ali. With a population of only 9 million, this is a huge achievement for a small country like UAE.
