Top 10 Music Sites That will Improve Your Equine Video Content

This week I thought I would? share some valuable tips about adding music to your horsey-related videos.. We all know how a great soundtrack can elevate equestrian content,?but finding the right track in our niche can be a challenge. Don't worry – I've got you covered!

Many of you have reached out, expressing frustration about finding free or affordable music tracks that work with your content.? Well, saddle up (pun intended), because I'm about to share my current Top 10 Music Sites that'll save you time and money for those of you creating professional-quality equine videos.

So here we go...

1. Canva

If you're already using Canva for your content creation, you're in luck! They offer a growing audio library, but keep in mind you'll need a Canva Pro account to access it.

2. Free Stock Music

This site offers a solid selection of royalty-free tunes for your social media videos. They do ask for a credit, but they make it easy by showing you how to include it in your video description.

3. Tune Tank

Another user-friendly option with free music for all platforms. You'll need to credit the composer, but they provide a ready-made credit statement – talk about convenience!

4. YouTube Audio Library

For you YouTubers out there, don't forget to check out the platform's own audio library in the Creator Studio section. They even have sound effects! Just remember, these tracks are for YouTube use only.

5. Facebook Sound Collection

If Facebook and Instagram are your main stomping grounds, their sound collection is a safe bet.. The criticism has been choice but the? library is growing, and you won't have to worry about copyright issues.

6. Bensound

This fun site offers music under various collection search options. Use their tracks on all platforms with a proper credit, or buy a reasonably priced license if you prefer.

7. Free Music Archive

An extensive library featuring global artists. Credit the musician, and if you're feeling generous, there's an easy option to tip them via PayPal.

8. Josh Woodward

With around 300 tracks, this composer-run site offers free music as long as you credit Josh and mention his website. Perfect for finding unique, less overused tunes!

9. Audio Jungle (Envato Market)

While not free, this site offers numerous tracks for just $1. With over 3 million options from global contributors, it's one of the easiest sites to navigate.

10. Pond5

A one-stop-shop for all things media, including music tracks. Search by length and style, with plenty of budget-friendly options. Plus, they offer 20% off your first order – perfect for stocking up on reusable tracks!

Thanks Mike tried to make it easy as so many people get caught out thinking they can use a huge amount of commercial tracks like they do on instagram and then get caught out.

This is a really great piece on Music and of course so important as Music is so often the key that unlocks one’s memory - as well as making the Viewer more receptive to the Visual Imagery. After a lifetime of working in both TV and Radio, I think I can safely say that whilst it is said that Sound produces pictures in people’s minds, it is the combination Sound and Visuals which, when the creator gets it right, is able to produce the most persuasive message - that’s why it’s so important to carefully choose precisely the right sound track for every audio visual creation .
