2. Johannes Gutenberg (1394-1468): A German goldsmith, Gutenberg is best known for the Gutenberg press, a revolutionary printing machine that used movable type.

3. Henry Ford (1863-1947): Ford didn't invent the automobile, but he enhanced the assembly line for automobile manufacturing and popularized the gas-powered car with the Model-T.

4. Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922): Bell invented the telephone in 1876. His "photophone" allowed sound transmission on a light beam.
