Top 10 Employee Goodfood Products of 2021

This year our Goodfoodie’s worked harder than ever to make Goodfood the #1 Online Grocer in Canada. Our passionate teams have been expanding our product offerings, and revolutionizing our delivery to get our delicious products in kitchens all across the country in less than 1 hour! We are the team that is making good things happen, and a common thread to everything we do is food. After all, we’re foodies at heart! And what better way to wrap up a great year than to share our very own employees top 10 Goodfood products of 2021!

We hope that you enjoy this list as much as we enjoyed testing our products for you, and if you get hungry along the way, you might even be able to order some of them and get them delivered in 30 minutes or less - after all, it would just be teasing to tell you about our Salted Caramel Cheesecake and not be able to try it yourself. 1. Butter Chicken

This year our Goodfoodie's agree: this Indian-style classic cooked up fresh daily in our Goodfood kitchen is a fan favourite! It simmers tender tandoori chicken breast cubes in a rich sauce made with tomato, cream, and aromatics including ginger and garlic. With just a gentle spicy kick, it'll warm up your meal time in a flash. All you need now is some rice!

2. Sea Salt & Vinegar Kettle-Cooked Chips

In second place our Goodfoodie’s are raving about our Kettle chips! Deliciously tangy crispy chips, artisanally produced by a farming family in New Brunswick who grow all their own potatoes. The russets’ nutty brown hue and natural sweetness add a whole new flavour profile to this classic.

3. Salted Caramel Cheesecake

This creamy layered dessert with salted caramel & a crunchy graham crust was a fan favourite for many Goodfoodies in 2021. Fans of salted caramel will find their bliss in this dessert, which pairs its sweet-saltiness with a crunchy graham crust and creamy cheesecake topping. The best of all worlds!

4. Lemon Lime Sorbet

Coming in fourth place in our employee top 10 is our Lemon Lime Sorbet! This refreshing, well-balanced and perfectly crisp tasting lemon-lime sorbet will make you think of summer all year long. Made with real fruit juices and a water base, it’s fat-free and deliciously vegan.

5. Aioli

Because who doesn't love an Aioli? In fifth place we have our creamy, dairy-free condiment spiced with plenty of garlic & lightly smoked jalape?os. Creamy and indulgent mixes with the heat of smoked jalape?o spice in this aioli, dairy-free and absolutely delicious.

6. Dill Pickle Hummus

In sixth place our Goodfoodie’s are giving a shout out to our Dill Pickle Hummus! Nothing perks up flavour like the thrill of dill! Their savoury flavour plays off the voluptuous creaminess of the hummus. So jazz up your crudités and up your falafel game, and work yourself out of a flavour pickle!

7. Candy Cane Truffles

Fantastically fudgy chocolate truffles studded with crispy bits of crushed candy cane were also in our employees top 10 favourite products. Made by a family-owned Canadian chocolatier with 70 years of tradition, these palm-oil and gluten-free pepperminty treats are dusted with powdered cocoa and ready to bring you cheer any time of year.

8. General Tao?

In eighth place, our Goodfoodie’s fell in love with our General Tao chicken! After quickly cooking these lightly-battered chicken breast morsels, you’ll toss them in the signature tangy, gingery, sweet ’n’ sour sauce—and just like that, the best restaurant in town is in your own home.

9. Goodie Oh’s! Pumpkin Spice

Our employees agree, the spice is right! This year we couldn’t stop eating our Pumpkin Spice Goodie Oh’s! Each cookie is made with real pumpkin purée and bursts with the warm spiced aromas of cinnamon and nutmeg. Then they’re sandwiched two-by-two around silky vanilla icing for extra deliciousness!

10. Chocolate-Caramel Truffle Cake

Last but never least, in 10th place our Goodfoodie’s were obsessed with our Chocolate-Caramel Truffle Cake. Sourced from a labour-of-love Montreal bakery committed to comforting homemade flavours, it's rich base of dark chocolate and caramel is layered with a double-chocolate truffle filling.
