My question to you today is – Is life happening TO you or is life happening FOR you? Stop, take a pause and reflect!
It’s a journey from being a VICTIM to a VICTOR. From thinking “Life is happening TO us” to “Life is happening FOR us”, from “Fighting the reality” to “Understanding what is happening is a consequence of the choices and decisions we have taken in the past (whether consciously or unconsciously)”.
The important thing is are we aware and willing to undertake this journey?
One of the tools that help us get started is practising “MINDFULNESS” or simply put – “BEING AWARE”!
Just remind yourself multiple times during the day to stop, pause, reflect on your inner state of being.
? Are you feeling restless, sad, frustrated, irritated, angry, helpless, low on energy or
happy, joyful, blissful, hopeful, energetic, optimistic, in control?
? Are you complaining, blaming or taking charge?
? Are you fighting what is or working to create a life that you desire?
Just practising this puts you in a state of control and interrupts your thought pattern to gain back control on your day and subsequently your week, your month and your life!
It might seem difficult to look within and start being more mindful of your state of being – but who has ever said that transformation comes easy! Transformation is inside out and it needs focus and work; however, the results can be amazing.
So, are you ready to get started!!
Do share your experiences on tools that you have used for practising mindfulness and how have they helped you evolve into a better human being.
