Tools to Refresh Your Mindfulness Practice
Dear Mindful Leader,
?For most leaders, making time to take care of yourself can be a challenge. In order to prioritize your well-being, it’s a good idea to have a variety of mindfulness skills in your toolbox so that you can adjust your practice as needed, while?consistently incorporating mindfulness ?into your life.?
?During periods of stress or anxiety, your practice might look like carving out 10 minutes to sit, breathe, and feel grounded. When you’re on the go, maybe it looks like savoring each sip of your morning coffee, or taking a conscious inhale and exhale before you begin a meeting. It doesn’t have to take a lot of time: Georgina Miranda, founder and CEO of She Ventures and a teacher in the upcoming?Mindful30 Challenge , reminds us, “When the world feels heavy and overwhelming, we can take a pause and ask ourselves: What would actually be helpful in this moment?” By consistently reclaiming these moments of clarity, presence, and self-compassion, you are cultivating the ability to act in alignment with not just your external strategy, but also your inner intentions, no matter what challenges arise.?
