Well Said
“I dread success. To have succeeded is to have finished one's business on earth, like the male spider, who is killed by the female the moment he has succeeded in his courtship. I like a state of continual becoming, with a goal in front and not behind.” - George Bernard Shaw
“We are trying to prove ourselves wrong as quickly as possible, because only in that way can we find progress.” - Richard Feynman
"A vision gives a purpose to daily pursuits. A reason to push yourself out of bed each morning and do something. Without this purpose, it's easy to drift." -? Bob Bowman, Michael Phelps' coach

We all have an Everest. Even if you are not an alpinist or mountaineer, we are all on individual journeys, facing ascents and descents as we strive toward our personal and professional peaks. Whether yours is to achieve a big, audacious goal, or to find a way to coexist better with your mother-in-law, how you navigate the journey is up to you. You can choose to stop, to turn around, or to keep going. And you can choose to find meaning in the challenges along the way and embrace the joy in the journey.
And what if you could transform challenges into triumphs? Well, Jenn Drummond has a lot to say about how to do that through resilience, determination, and mindset. Jenn is a Guinness World Record holder for being the first woman to climb all of the 7 Second Summits, and she’s also a successful business owner, international speaker, author, host of the Seek Your Summit podcast, and the mother of 7 remarkable children.
She also helps others create thriving businesses and lasting legacies of their own through her speaking and writing; in fact we’ll do a deep dive into her new book, BreakProof: 7 Strategies to Build Resilience and Achieve Your Life Goals .
I think Jenn’s life and adventures can serve as a blueprint for becoming breakproof. Jenn has a wonderful set of amazing accomplishments in all aspects of life that are models of empowerment and inspiration on how to live a life in full.

Please visit our website: https://www.centerforglobalinitiatives.org/ . We’re proud to be a top ranked Great Nonprofit (since 2013!) and to have achieved Platinum Level from GuideStar .
Tools for Racing to Help Others
It’s my perspective that to properly live one’s Life in Full, you must include an aspect of being of service to others. That’s why we founded the Center for Global Initiatives , a 501(c)3 charity which has been a top rated nonprofit every year since 2013, and holds GuideStar’s highest rating of Platinum. An aspect of personally living my life in full has included climbing some of the tallest mountains in the United States and the world and founding Summits for Others , in the flatlands of the Midwest completing multiple charity stair climbs in the tallest buildings in Chicago, and even building custom show bikes for charity auctions , and other, what I like to call Weirdo Challenges . So, for me the natural evolution is venturing into motorsports and the combining of physical with mechanical challenges. For 2024, we plan to raise media awareness of our Center’s work as well as funds for our projects via these videos and at events.
It is a pleasure to announce that Young Automotive is a partner and sponsor of this Project. They are a second-generation auto service provider based in Sturgeon Bay and serving customers throughout Door County Wisconsin. They are recognized as a trusted, community-minded, locally owned business. In fact, their motto is “Changing lives by fixing cars.” Their ASE-certi?ed technicians are experts in servicing domestic, European, and Asian vehicles along with hybrids. They are MAP Accredited and an ASA Member.
Cal’s expertise in preparing the C8 for the racing season has made all the difference --both in the car’s on-the-track performance, and my peace of mind as the driver. Owner Fred Young and Service Manager Nick Krueger’s backgrounds, experience? and automotive knowledge are without compare.? Their commitment to helping others is a testament to their ethics and the shop’s ethos. Fred’s leadership in developing a positive, diverse and supportive workplace culture serves as a model for other entrepreneurs to aspire to.?
And on a personal note, I want to share my heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation for all they do, and to our collaboration in helping others, wherever we can. Visit their website at and be sure to check out the stories on their YouTube Channel , you won’t be disappointed.
