Toolas Pulse – Industry Insights from Toolas, Lithuania’s Laser Hub
Toolas - Laser Micromachining Cluster
A Lithuanian partnership specializing in laser micromachining solutions
2025 marks a milestone year for Toolas Cluster – our 10th anniversary!
What started as a collaboration between 6 young entities – some of which have since evolved and taken new shapes – has now grown into a dynamic community of 15 members and 2 international associates, all united by a shared focus on laser micromachining.
As our community grows, so does the number of its stakeholders. That’s why we’re excited to launch Toolas Pulse, our international newsletter – a way to connect, share updates and useful information, welcome our new partners, community members, and collaborators.

PROJECTS
PhotonQBoost – €3.6M for Photonics & Quantum Technologies
Starting in early 2025, the PhotonQBoost project (Photonics and Quantum Technologies for Sustainable Industry) will provide €3.6 million in direct support services for 600 SMEs in photonics and quantum technologies.
This initiative builds on the foundation of the Photonics4Industry project consortium, alongside Photonics Austria, Photonics Bretagne, Photonics BW, Photonics Finland, and Toolas. Original consortium members have now joined forces with new partners, creating an even stronger alliance to drive technology development, sustainability practices, cross-border collaboration, and strengthen Europe’s innovation ecosystem.
For Toolas members, this project presents a valuable opportunity to connect with new partners and potential customers while benefiting from the resources and expertise within the PhotonQBoost network.
More updates coming soon!
Inocluster – a New Chapter for Toolas
A new chapter is starting with the Inocluster project, managed by Visoriai Information Technology Park (VITP) , Toolas cluster coordinator. Over the next 2 years, this EU co-funded initiative will aimed to strengthen and expand Toolas Cluster activities, improve international visibility, and promote collaboration among its members.
