If you create any kind of video content, you need to add subtitles (it makes your content more accessible & is proven to increase video performance).

- We've had a crazy couple of weeks in terms of bringing in new clients which is amazing! I'm still keeping myself grounded & know that there will be peaks & troughs. No champagne being popped yet.

I love the?BeReal?concept & it’s a cool way of seeing what your mates & family are up to BUT it’s got one big flaw that will hold it back as a social platform.

Discoverability.

For those who haven’t heard of BeReal it’s the latest social platform which has been blowing up.

The concept is you get one notification a day & you have 2 minutes to post what you’re up to.

It’s a really cool way of seeing an unfiltered insight into what your friends and family are up to.

But…

That’s also it’s flaw.

The content is fully focused on seeing an authentic, unfiltered look into what your friends & family are up to at a random point in the day.

No one and I mean no one who doesn’t know you will want to see ‘what you’re up to’.

I spent 10 seconds scrolling on the ‘discovery’ tab to discover content from people I didn’t know & I was instantly bored.

I don’t care what Susan from Scotland is up to right now.

And that’s why in it’s current form, the growth of the platform is extremely limited.
