Too Much of a Good Thing?
Can you take too much of a good thing? Most certainly!
This week on the Purely Living Wellness blog I share information regarding supplements, and in particular - curcumin supplements.
This came about because of an interesting thread that came up in the Qest4 bio-resonance practitioner forum. An article link was shared about iron deficiency with high-potency curcumin supplementation. So many come through my consult door with their curcumin supplements in hand. Of course, they have heard about it or read about it...as the wellness industry seems to go in cycles of promoting one "miracle" herb over others. In my area, a popular wellness store is frequently promoting a certain curcumin product over the airwaves. If you hear something often enough, it must be true, right?
The point is...just because someone thinks a product would be good for your symptom does not mean that it is necessarily addressing the root cause. Learning how to test your own body for what it needs, either by dowsing, muscle testing using your fingers or the lean method, is a good practice to learn, and it can save you lots of money. Anytime you can remove the energy of another entity (aka person) - the resonance will be more true to you.
Some people are not comfortable doing this or have an energy block in their belief to do so. We all possess an innate intelligence within - the body is truly designed to heal itself. If you are not comfortable testing yourself for your supplements, Purely Living Wellness can help you establish a baseline of what your body is asking for. As the practitioner/technician - my own energy is not a part of the equation. The Qest4 bio-resonance system communicates with the innate intelligence (or energy, chi, spirit, etc.) through informational energetic patterns sent out of the system, and receives response from the body through electrodes. This transference of information through energetic language is how everything becomes interconnected. With Qest4, you are able to find the bigger picture, so you can see causes to imbalances instead of endlessly chasing symptoms..and filling your cupboard with one supplement after another, that may or may not work. What's more, we can even help with determining the dosage that your body is asking for. Do you really need three capsules daily as directed on the bottle, or is your body asking only for two, or does it need four?
Whole food nutrition is always the best avenue for obtaining our vitamins, minerals and anti-inflammatory benefits. Obtain an organic turmeric root powder (I use Frontier brand) and add it into just about any hot dish casserole, soup, a bit of homemade salad dressing made with avocado mayo, or a green smoothie. The Purely Living Wellness website offers a number of healthy and delicious recipes - including what I call Holy Guacamole, which uniquely adds turmeric to this non-authentic guac dish. Many have commented it is the best guacamole they have ever had.
Visit the blog post for our late-winter/early-spring special on bio-resonance testing of your supplements for you. We can do this through the mail, as explained in the blog post, utilizing the DNA of your hair and a sample of each supplement, clearly labeled, for a nominal fee, that will most likely end up saving you money. Of course, you can always inquire and send a message.
May you enjoy health and healing at the cellular level!
