Too much busywork? Here are some ChatGPT prompts to automate your daily tasks
As artificial intelligence continues to grow in popularity and change the way we work, it’s becoming more important than ever to incorporate the technology into your workflow.
That might sound intimidating, especially due to concerns about AI taking away jobs. But try to shift your mindset and view AI as an ally, not an enemy. In the coming years, it’s going to be more important than ever to show employers that you are competent at using the technology, as workplaces across the world embrace its use.
ChatGPT is one of the most accessible generative chatbots out there, and understanding how to use it begins with writing an effective prompt. In his recent story for Forbes, contributor Aytekin Tank says that “the right prompt can empower AI to handle more tedious tasks,” freeing up workers to “focus on more meaningful tasks, ultimately boosting the type of productivity that matters.”
Let’s take a look at a few of the prompts that Tank offers up in his story, with the aim of cutting down on the time it takes to complete your busywork each day:
These are just three of the eight prompts that Tank includes in his story, where he also goes in-depth into some of the finer details about working with ChatGPT, including how to train it to match your own personal voice.

Work boundaries: California assemblyman introduces a right to disconnect bill to limit after-hours work
In our perpetually online world, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for many white collar workers to prioritize work-life balance, as emails and Slack messages don’t stop once the clock hits 5 p.m. But proposed legislation in California could change things. Assemblymember Matt Haney (D-San Francisco) introduced Assembly Bill 2751 this week, which, if passed, would make California the first state to guarantee workers the “right to disconnect.”?
“The lines between when you’re working and when you’re not have become so blurred that, for many people, they never have a time to switch off,” Haney said in an interview with Forbes senior contributor Jack Kelly. The bill drew attention the same week that California’s higher minimum wage law for fast food workers went into effect, which Kelly argues could come with unintended consequences such as restaurant closures and reduced hours for employees.?

6 个月One of the best use cases I can see for these things atm is to democratise data queries to C-level level execs. & management that may lack SQL knowledge, for better on the fly decision making. That's why frameworks like Azure, that allow you to select the data you want to be queried, isolate it on a db, and then make it available to a private llm are going to be a game changer. Of course not many SMEs are going to be able to navigate that kind of data unification.. I suspect the reason we are seeing exponential growth in these ai models is because much like a child, alot depends on that initial data training set. Add things like Make, Zapier & specialist api intreg. companies into the mix to have a functional chatbot that's providing current and historical insights, creating spreadsheets, composing and sending emails..

6 个月"ChatGPT prompts to automate your daily tasks" The first suggestion highlights a major risk with Generative AI. The example shared is using ChatGPT like Grammarly. By definition, using AI in this way uploads client information to AI's cloud for analysis. This likely violates NDAs and creates risk for you and your client.
