I’m currently working with a client to promote their upcoming webinar, and it’s been a powerful reminder of the massive impact KLT (Know, Like, Trust) has on marketing! KLT is all about the brand awareness content we put out to warm up a cold audience—without asking for anything in return.

If you aren’t already, make sure almost all your social media posts have thumbnails with interesting, easy-to-read titles. When someone lands on your profile, they should instantly understand what you do and be enticed to explore further. One of the biggest mistakes I’ve seen in recent profile audits is the lack of scannable covers, making it unclear what the person does and who their content is for. People are busy, and if you don’t give them a reason to stay, they’ll move on.
