2 个月Thanks for the shout out Tony Steuer, CLU, LA, CPFFE I started reading the book QUIT by Annie Duke recommended by Brian Portnoy, CFA and it reminded me how many investors had a buy decision but no sell-side strategy. Therefore investors make buy decisions with no parameters on when to exit. I’ve used this messaging in financial planning for years. Asking clients “what’s the exit plan?” For not just investments, but every financial instrument. What’s the exit plan for your business, your 401k, your life insurance, this job? Everything. Most of us have no idea - so we stick out the ride even when it doesn’t serve us or can’t prepare for an urgency and wind up losing to taxes, timing, market conditions and more.

2 个月Thank you Tony Steuer, CLU, LA, CPFFE. There are a lot of ripples and more tidal waves from Scott Galloway and his book on The Algebra of Wealth and Annamaria Lusardi and her new book The Knowledge that Matters. We have the opportunity to move from this medieval society where the landowners of then are the shareholders of now. GenZ is on track to move the needle as Tim Ranzetta wrote in his post about the Charles Schwab’s Modern Wealth Survey (https://www.aboutschwab.com/schwab-modern-wealth-survey-2024).
