Many people think their companies are just great!
Their products and services are really good and are always working at making them better. This may be noble but It may be missing the point!
We need to fall in love with our customers!
The more I get to understand marketing I understand that our businesses need to be customer-centric and not company-centric.
We need to love the difference our products and services make to their lives and the problem that we solve for them.
Better products and services are good but only to the extent that they meet the needs of those precious people - our customers.
How do we do this?
- Let's practice getting into the shoes of our customers and see our business as they see it,
- Let's be so good at what we do that our customers love us and we become their preferred supplier.
- Let's make sure that we give them value for what they pay.
- Let's always listen to what the customer is telling us.
- Let's always act with integrity in our relationship with customers and build trust with them at every opportunity.
