Project Management Office for Construction Companies

Optimization of Business Operations & Project Performance through Digital Transformation
Greetings all friends and colleagues,
As you know, I have been promoting the PMIGLC June 10th Dinner Meeting for quite a while. It's the first Construction Community to get together to learn more about PMI and the benefits of becoming Project Management Professional.
After spreading the word and receiving feedback from some of my friends, I realized that many PMPs from other disciplines didn't realize that this is an event for all PMI members. Although the focus is to introduce PMI to Greater Detroit Area's top 35 Construction-related companies, however as any PMP certified manager would know, in a multi-disciplinary organization such as a construction company you'd have Project Managers for many aspects of your business. That's why I've invited Business Owners and Developers, Chief Financial Officers and Accountants, Lawyers and Legal practitioners, IT Managers and even Physicians and hospital directors to see the interesting presentation on the need and benefits of a PMO.
PMO which stands for Portfolio, Program, or Project Management Office depending on the size of the organization and the need of the enterprise, is the newest, most innovative, and the greatest concept developed by Project Management Institute to help with Governance, Strategic Alignment, Process and Procedural Standardization, Reporting with Business Intelligence to improve Project Outputs and Increase Business Outcomes of any organization!
This event is one of its kind in all six States of PMI Region 4 ever! Don't miss this opportunity, our next event is still not organized and might not happen until September!
If you wish to be included in my email list to be informed of any future events and roundtables, please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected] or [email protected]
Hope to see you there,
Hani
