Tomorrow, on June 26th, we will celebrate World Refrigeration Day, the coolest day of the year!

World Refrigeration Day is a celebration of the people and technologies responsible for creating and maintaining the world we live in, dependent upon temperature-controlled environments. They provide the conditions we require for health, comfort, worker productivity, manufacturing, and essential environments for food, pharmaceuticals, and digital data. All of these things can be taken for granted and are in fact made possible thanks to industrial refrigeration.

Actually, who really enables how food can be produced and preserved from its source to the table and how vaccines and medicines can be produced and stored around the world? Who enables data centers to function? How can climate change be stabilized without sacrificing modern convenience?

All of this is happens thanks to our people, our “cooling champions”. According to the World Refrigeration Day website, more than 15 million people are employed worldwide in the refrigeration sector. Our dedicated professionals design, build, maintain, and regulate all these systems as well as educate a new generation of practitioners.
