TOMORROW IS NOT GUARANTEED. LIVE TODAY!
What will be your reaction if after you've lived for a long time and you're at the brink of saying goodbye to mother earth, you discover that the life you've always dreamed of having but never had was entirely your fault?
I mean everything was at your disposal, the resources, the materials, the talents, skills, potentials, platforms, etc. All you needed to do was to go the extra mile by stepping out of your comfort zone to access all of these...
I have been planning on creating this newsletter for a long time, but I never got to do it. I wanted it to be perfect and I was afraid of doing it wrong (heck, I'm still afraid of doing it wrong). I felt I wasn't knowledgeable enough and I don't have what it takes to create a newsletter or write articles that will actually help people build better lives.
But here I am, doing the exact thing I've been afraid of doing for months. (Phewwwww)
Will it come out great? well, I don't know.
I visited the Home Of the Elderly today, together with a group of people. Seeing the aged men and women live at the mercy of the caregivers brought a shiver down my spine. Some of them couldn't move on their own, some couldn't sit, they had to leave them on their beds, while some were struggling to see...
These were people who were once full of life and vitality!
If they had the chance to be young and full of life again, what will they do differently? Are they satisfied? Are they fulfilled? Are they happy? Did they achieve half of what they planned to achieve in life? All these questions and more kept springing up in my head.
If we had enough time on our hands and had given each of them the opportunity to speak, they would have definitely told us stories of regrets.
