Tom Brady Is Now the No. 2 Shareholder in Performance Training Company Nobull
Even though his playing days are behind him, Tom Brady is continuing to make moves.
The NFL icon’s TB12 nutrition brand, his Brady Brand apparel and performance training company Nobull have merged, according to a Tuesday announcement from Nobull. This merger, according to the statement, is the next step in Bodyarmor founder Mike Repole’s plan to turn Nobull into a complete wellness company.
Impact Capital, the private equity arm of Repole’s family office, announced in June 2023 that it invested in Nobull. With this merger, Nobull confirmed Brady is now the company’s No. 2 shareholder, behind Repole.
Repole and Brady will help shape the vision and strategy for Nobull and will work closely with its management team.
Police Make Arrest in Connection With $5 Million Theft of Nike Products
Los Angeles police have arrested a suspect in connection with a large theft of Nike products.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Commercial Crimes Division Cargo Theft Unit on Monday announced the arrest of 37-year-Old Roy Lee Harvey Jr in connection with a large theft of Nike products that were delivered to a location in Hawthorne, Calif. on Saturday. According to a police announcement, detectives and Nike’s global security director uncovered “thousands of pairs of stolen Nike shoes, clothing, accessories, and unique prototypes” amounting to about $5 million in value.
Zoom out: The news is just one example of another high value sneaker theft to occur in recent months. In October, police reportedly uncovered close to $5 million worth of stolen goods in a Chicago warehouse that included stolen shoes from brands such as Nike, Yeezy, Supreme and Ugg. And in June, Los Angeles police reportedly uncovered $7 million worth of Nike sneakers from a warehouse in Torrance, Calif.
Moschino’s New Creative Director Is Former Loewe Designer Adrian?Appiolaza
Moschino is entering a new era.
The Milan-based brand has named Adrian Appiolaza its new creative director, overseeing the women’s, men’s and accessories collections and reporting to Massimo Ferretti, executive chairman of parent company Aeffe SpA.
Appiolaza brings to Moschino a decade of experience as women’s ready-to-wear design director at Loewe, working with creative director JW Anderson. He previously held the same role at Chloé with Clare Waight Keller.
His first collection for Moschino will bow for the women’s fall season, to be unveiled on Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. CET at Museo della Permanente during Milan Fashion Week.
