The Tolerance of My Muse

The Tolerance of My Muse

Nature surrounds me - it is my muse. I am inspired by nature’s fluidity, its wildness, its ability to adjust to constant change. For me nature can always be counted on to set all of my senses in motion, triggering them anew. My muse moves me in the creative direction.

Chasing the Wind by Christine Alfery (2017)

Nature sets the example and, like it, I aspire to push limits with the materials I use and the concepts I work with. Nature stretches me in every direction without getting trapped.

All Rise by Christine Alfery (2020)

Inspired by nature’s fluidity I seek my authentic self, my natural self.  Instead of limiting myself, controlling myself, adjusting myself to what others want me to be, I create something that is bolder, bigger, and better than my imagination ever dreamed it could be. I reach and explore, expanding, pushing, not letting fear stop me.

Everything natural is able to stretch, flow, and tolerate all that I am – my authentic self. What a wonderful thing to be me – not what something limits me to be.
