Tokyo2020 Olympics & Paralympic Opening Ceremonies

With the countdown to the Tokyo2020 Olympics and Paralympics already on the lips of many athletes, celebrities and general public, I can't help but wonder what the Tokyo2020 Organisers will be planning or looking for, perhaps like London2012 they may wish to highlight Japan through the ages, including the music scene, which over the past few years J-Pop is fast becoming a global guilty pleasure.

I count very lucky to have had the experiences I have had in my past life, such as being SOLO recording artist/Japanese Idol BLADE ブレイド. I released 2 albums in Japan and South East Asia via Kitty/White Gardens Records: Blade 1st & Hungry Love. The first single (Heart Wo Dakishimete) "This Time" was the most played track on radio in Japan in 1995 - winning me the gold award.

My time in Japan only lasted 2 years - for the duration of my 2 albums,as my Japanese Agent & UK Music Manager unbeknown to me were working together to underhandedly manipulate my career which resulted in many issues, royalty payments going missing, which lead to the contract being dissolved.

The success I achieved (regardless of the background issues) was enough to win the Japanese Radio Committee GOLD Award for the most played song on radio for 1995.

Perhaps the Tokyo2020 Olympic Organisers may wish BLADE ブレイド to perform at the Opening Ceremony? Who knows a BLADE revival may be on the cards, if it's good enough for UK past popstars like Take That, Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, Blue, 5ive etc., then why not me!
