Together We Succeed! Separately We Fail!
?I want to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible support and encouragement you have all given me towards my 4th attempt to join the Worldwide ERC Board. Your belief in my abilities and your unwavering support have meant the world to me.? As I promised to keep you updated, I was unfortunately, again not selected. While this news was disheartening and may come as a disappointment to those of you who personally supported me on LinkedIn, I want to emphasize that this setback will not deter me from continuing to work towards my mission to support the mobility industry through my straight forwardness and honesty.
Kerwin Guillermo a colleague, mentor and friend who I immensely respect, gave me extremely valuable advice and encouragement.? He said, " Titles are not the sole enablers of change.?Relevance belongs to those who have the voice and the support one can assemble.? ?You already have a platform and a vessel, your supporters, and you still have the means to effect change.?? Continue to focus on things within your control and your mission.”
What great words of wisdom and a reminder, to focus on what is important.? Not being selected to the board will not deter me from continuing to work for the over 800 of you who supported me and our cause to always strive for betterment.? ?My mission, my passion, and my dedication to making a difference collaborating with all of you in striving for making progress are what truly matters and not a title. I firmly believe that I can and will continue to contribute to the mobility industry through my actions and my all out commitment to this industry.? ?
I have had productive conversations with Anupam Singhal, Chairman of the ERC Board, and acting CEO in detail over the past few weeks. ??The recent challenges and opportunities faced by Worldwide ERC are more critical than ever and Anupam was confident that change is coming. ???
