At the recent American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Annual Convergence 2024, I was struck by an extraordinary visual representation of unity and progress in rheumatology. The AbbVie booth featured a breathtaking interactive light board, where attendees—doctors, researchers, and advocates alike—could place a light into the board, symbolizing how every individual contributes to advancing the field of rheumatology.

What made this feature truly special was its focus on centering the patient. As the board illuminated the words "Together We Shape Rheumatology," it was more than just a slogan—it was a powerful reminder that every breakthrough in rheumatology is ultimately about improving the lives of patients worldwide. AbbVie emphasized this commitment by recognizing CreakyJoints? and the Global Healthy Living Foundation (GHLF) as key partners in supporting patients globally.

This patient-centered approach resonates deeply with our mission. For 25 years, GHLF has worked to elevate the voices of millions of patients, bringing education, advocacy, and support to those living with chronic diseases.
