Starting my mornings with affirmations is an empowering way to set the tone for the day: "YOU ARE BRAVE. YOU ARE SEXY. …and you are probably running late for work!"
Lately, I’ve been dedicating my free time to sharing flyers and promoting trainings with the hope of making the world just a little brighter. I’m excited to take this work a step further by launching a Disability and LGBTQ+ Intersection Work Group later this month.

This intersectional work is vital. Research shows that LGBTQIA+ individuals are significantly more likely to have a disability, and people with disabilities are significantly more likely to identify as LGBTQIA+. We cannot talk about one without acknowledging the other.
By bringing together diverse voices, we can push for more inclusive, supportive spaces that respect and celebrate all identities.
