Q: Over the past 5 years, what new skills or knowledge have you gained from working at The Chedi Lu?tica Bay, that have been instrumental to your growth as a professional?

During my five years at The Chedi Lu?tica Bay, I had the opportunity to mentor and guide security team members, passing on the knowledge and experiences I had gained over the years. Watching these individuals grow and develop their skills was immensely rewarding, and it served as a testament to the supportive and nurturing environment that the hotel provided. The sense of pride in our work, both as individuals and as a team, was evident, and it reinforced my belief in the significance of security's role in creating a truly exceptional guest experience.

Q: As you reflect on the past 5 years, what message would you like to convey to the resort's guests, colleagues, and management team about your journey at The Chedi Lu?tica Bay?

I can't help but feel a mix of pride and thankfulness. These five years have been so fulfilling, not just for my career growth, but also because I had the chance to play a part in ensuring the safety and joy of countless guests. The memories, the friendships, and all the lessons I've learned here will forever hold a special place in my heart. To all the amazing guests, colleagues, and management team, I want to say a massive "thank you" for making this experience truly unforgettable. Q: What was your first impression when you started working at The Chedi Lu?tica Bay, and how has that impression evolved over the years?

When I started at The Chedi Lustica Bay, I was amazed by how beautiful the hotel and its surroundings were. It felt great to be a part of its growth over the years, especially as a member of the cooking team.

I'm a Chef de Partie, which means I prepare food not only for guests but also for our team in the canteen. I really care about everyone's well-being, so I make sure to cook tasty and healthy food.

As time went by, my initial excitement only got stronger. The hotel's commitment to making delicious food and giving guests a wonderful dining experience has kept growing. This journey has made me love cooking even more and seeing how happy good food can make people, whether they're guests or part of our team.

Q: As a long-standing employee, what advice would you give to new team members joining The Chedi Lu?tica Bay?

First things first, be open to learning. Our kitchen isn't just about cooking – it's a place where creativity flows, and everyone's ideas matter. If you need help or have something cool to share, speak up. Teamwork is how we shine.

Keep your curiosity alive. There's so much to discover in our kitchen. And if you're into healthy food like me, you're in good company! I love making tasty dishes that are good for you too. You'll see this care in the meals I prepare for all of us.
