Being an HR Professional, it is always my duty?to maintain a healthy?and positive?environment at work place. Every company has some Values, Ethics and Principles so it's very important to follow?and maintain?the decorum at the workplace and this is only possible?when there will be contribution?from both the sides whether it is employee or employer. A positive work environment?increases?the level of growth, productivity, happiness and success. Basically it is helpful in overall achievements.
Thing to follow at your workplace :-
- arriving at work before time and anticipating and planning that what you will have to do today will always help you to perform well. If you will do this you will never ever get affected by any last minute change by anyone so proper planning and preparation before implementation is necessary and very important.?
- Always at least?try to go to the office whenever your boss asks for work, even if you have made some other plan for yourself, but still try to put all your effort into making it possible. This is the time when you get earn some more brownie points from your boss.
-?Always ask for feedback and take this feedback positively no matter what it is because?it will help you to improve yourself, as we all know that no one is perfect in this world. Also it will help you to improve your performance?in future.
- At work one should be a problem solver rather than a complainer. If you have any problem with anything, come up with a valuable idea. It will bring you into more lights.
- Try to dress yourself?in a professional way and dress up?according to your position in the company. It will make you feel good about yourself, give yourself a decent and a professional look.
- Avoid?getting involved?into a group?and do not?become a part of any?gossip?material. Always avoid?becoming a victim?of politics at your workplace else it will?unnecessarily?create?troubles.
- Always keep your personal life and relationship outside the office. I am not saying do not get attached with someone in your office but keep and maintain this relation outside of your workplace after your working hours.
- Do not pass?your task/work/responsibilities on to others. If you are assigned a certain task, it's your duty to perform it and complete it and if you are not willing to do this speak with your team leader or boss do not just pass this to some other staff specially when you are not authorize to do this.

- Always accept your mistake and say sorry, never involve yourself?into any unnecessary arguments. If you know that you are wrong, accept that with all grace. Always think before you speak, listen to other's point of view, don't?be offensive and rude.
- Avoid taking personal or unnecessary?calls during working hours, keep yourself away from your social media platforms until and unless it's very urgent. Use some separate?space, room to take such calls and make sure about the duration of calls. It will not only distract you but also your colleagues and at the end your performance will get affected.
-Use proper language when you are at your workplace. Good communication is very important for any team?and individual?growth. Also one should have a clear communication?with your co-workers?and employer.Try to avoid?a local tone/accent and language at your workplace.?
- Always make others comfortable; they may be your colleagues?or any new staff. Always create and maintain a welcoming environment?at your workplace so that a newcomer feels comfortable. Always try to encourage and involve everyone in discussion do not make anyone feel ignored?or neglected. Respect everyone no matter which hierarchy or department they belong to.
- Participate in meetings, group discussions, activities etc. Grab the opportunity?no matter what and always be humble and polite during conversation and interactions. This will not only help in organization growth?but also help you in your personal growth and success. It will build confidence?in you.
- Always keep your desk/work station clean and organized, put your Laptop/Computer in front of you, keep very less personal stuff at your desk, it should look open rather than messy. Always avoid gathering papers?on your desk, do proper filing?and punching.
- We all know that whenever we join any organization the company gives us its own rule book and that rule is completely?based on the business?they are dealing with. We all should follow?this properly and only this is the key to success.
?Our goals are common and this is only possible?when we work as a team at our workplace.
