Today's Reflection: Kindness is my Strength

Today's Reflection: Kindness is my Strength

I watched the new Cinderella with my kids for the 10th time and most striking words for me, is were Cinderella's Mom told her these powerful words.

"Have Courage and Be Kind"

Lots of Power in those words. Don't you think.

For Mankind these days it is much easier to be impatient and rude. Much easier to get angry and yell at someone than to take a deep breath and to be kind.

We are all guilty. Me too. Some of us try to be, but we all fail at some point.

If you try at least and get it right 6 out of the ten times, then you do better than most of the world population.

Today's Reflection fits perfectly and if you are interested to be more kind to your fellow human beings, then feel free to make Today's Reflection your own.

Today's Reflection: Kindness is my Strength

I believe in expressing kindness before any other reaction. Those who seem to be the least deserving of kindness are the individuals who are probably most in need of it. Kindness generally needs to be experienced before someone can express it themselves, so I make it a point to be kind to everyone.

I also believe that kindness is a strength that every person possesses and those who are secure within themselves are able to freely express it.

I am strong because I have the ability to be kind to myself, even when I initially believe that I am undeserving of such a reaction.

I understand the difference between lacking self-restraint and needing a boost to my mind, body, and soul. I often provide myself with happiness and understanding through kindness, yet I avoid letting myself get away with outlandish things.

I am strong because I always express kindness toward others. I am kind even when I experience something other than kindness in return. My soul grows with bright confidence and satisfaction when I remain kind and calm.

I impress people with my constant kindness because it is difficult to express such an emotion as often as I do.

Today, I earn the respect of those to whom I am kind. My mind, body, and soul relish in kindness.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What can I do to remain kind to those who are not kind to me?
2. Why should I always be kind?
3. How can my kindness impact those around me?

Couldn't agree more Jaco Duvenhage, it takes a few seconds of thought to think about a response.
