?? + ???? Let’s get the blue lit projects green lit! We were so happy to hear about the agreement between the studios and the Teamsters. It could not come soon enough for many working in film and television. With all that has happened in the past, a looming strike is almost as impacting as an actual strike as budgets freeze and plans are made to shoot overseas. Let’s be ready for the show to go on and anticipate success for Georgia.
???? South Korea and Georgia have a special relationship. Thanks to Steve Cohen and our friends at UTA, I was had the pleasure to attend the Ateez concert last night at Gas South in Duluth. South Korea is among those vying for the world’s top spot for creative, cultural and entertainment leadership alongside Georgia. Ateez has been one of the ambassadors of South Korea’s brand and repping K-Pop culture. Also thanks to UTA’s Amanda Chen, KQ’s Miko Yamamoto and others that made for a memorable evening. Pictures .

Our new Indie Spotlight series is all about supporting independent creatives in film, music, fashion, art and other segments of the creative industries. ?? We enjoyed networking with Sundance officials that were in town on an official visit this week. They experienced a packed agenda full of sights, sounds, and love in the heart of the peach, the entertainment capital of the world - Atlanta, Georgia! They are off to the other cities that are in final contention to land Sundance in 2027. As we have shared, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity . Big props to the Atlanta Sundance committee including the Mayor’s Office, Discover Atlanta and many others that have sacrificed so much time to this effort.

Georgia Entertainment’s newest series, Indie Spotlight, kicked off with an unforgettable event highlighting the independent film Brutal Season on July 26th at the Tara Theatre. The evening began with an insightful panel discussion that offered a rare behind-the-scenes look at the indie filmmaking process.
