Cboe latest to increase reliance on cloud-based technology

Cboe Global Markets confirmed it has cut a deal with data specialist Snowflake for its data and analytics migration. The Chicago exchange group said it would use the migration to Snowflake’s Data Cloud platform to enhance analytics on its existing datasets. The move follows Cboe’s partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), which saw the launch of Cboe Global Cloud.?


Deutsche B?rse's performance grows as financial derivatives and ESG business are key drivers

Deutsche B?rse announced its second-quarter results, with figures showing revenues of €1,018 million, an increase of 15% from the same period last year. The exchange stated financial derivatives and the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) segment were key drivers of growth. Financial derivatives were driven by higher trading volumes in index and interest rate derivatives, higher over-the-counter clearing fees and higher margin fees, the exchange noted.


HKEx to relax position limits for equity derivatives

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx) plans to increase the position limits for its single stock derivatives and bring the limits on mini contracts in line with the standard benchmark equity index contracts. John Buckley, co-chief operating officer and head of operations and transformation at HKEX, said in a release. “A more robust position limit regime will provide enhanced capacity and flexibility for investors as they look to manage their market exposure.”
