Always reassuring to see leadership from the top down. Certainly consistent leadership in large institute is a tough goal to achieve but it good to see that external influence can refresh NHS trust to work as one big team in harmony. A lot of NHS trust aspire to what you have achieved at Morecambe Bay and I am sure article from your blog just scratch the surface. Looking at the Better with you just show how sometimes wins can be made by involving people be that a patient/customer, the management team, executive team oandand even the employees.

Jackie, this certainly strikes a note with colleagues in social care. Compassionate leadership which has at the heart of it relationship based intervention is the cornerstone of our approach. Great blog.
