Significant flooding is expected around Barraba. Council and SES staff are doing all they can to help those who may be impacted.
Reconsider the need to travel in these areas.
Calala Lane is expected to remain open this afternoon however this is dependent on further rainfall.
Water is sheeting over roads at multiple locations, not just at waterways, and quickly rising at multiple waterways.
Just because no signs are up, does not mean it is safe to cross.
Expect more road closures in the next 24 hours. We will continue updating this post should further roads in the region be impacted by flooding.
