?? It will be hard to top the Unscripted event in Covington, but we are going to try! ?? Today, we are announcing the exciting program for the Macon Unscripted Roadshow. One of the key features of this event is our panel that will include Champ Bailey, former Hall of Fame NFL cornerback and Georgia Bulldog. Bailey the Executive Producer of “Signing Day,” an entirely homegrown Georgia film, having been written, developed, produced and financed within the state. We’re proud to screen the worldwide premiere of the film’s trailer that day.

This event will be held on August 15th, 4-6pm EST, at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and leads right into the kickoff of the Macon Film Festival. We will reach capacity quickly, so be sure to RSVP today!

Georgia Unscripted: Macon

?? Fashion is a major force in Georgia, as I wrote about in the recent Creative Economy Journal, and the convergence of the creative industries is real. Saint Laurent now has a film production division, Artemis has a majority stake in talent agency CAA and LVMH (Mo?t Hennessy and Louis Vuitton) recently announced 22 Montaigne - a partnership with Superconnector Studios. Senior writer, Carol Badaracco Padgett recently contributed the feature ‘Like Architecture for Fabric’ giving you a glimpse into the burgeoning GA scene. “International fashion. Creative ideation. ?? Columbus remains on the forefront of innovation in terms of economic development, tourism and embracing the creative industries. Three feature films are slated for production there this summer. It was exciting to see behind the scenes images last week from one of the productions in progress featuring James Franco and Tommy Lee Jones. The location is the exact spot we held our Georgia Entertainment 100 event at last fall. More on that later. Meanwhile, the community is helping fund more of the creative workerforce to move to the county. Take a look.
