Today the SRA Celebrated the City of Yorkton’s Policy Support for Homebuilding

The SRA awarded it’s first Housing Continuum Ambassador Certificate of recognition to Yorkton City Council today.
“We’re always on the look-out for good public policy, and when we heard what Yorkton had done, without prompting from anyone, we were thrilled and felt they needed to be celebrated,” said SRA CEO Chris Guerette.
On hand to provide the certificate was the Association’s entire Board of Directors including Board Chair Avril Reifferscheid who handed the certificate to Yorkton’s Mayor, His Worship, Mayor Mitch Hippsley.
“Yorkton City Council showed leadership and innovation and has implemented policy that supports growth and sustainability,” said Avril Reifferscheid, SRA Board Chair. “They are great ambassadors for moving in this direction.”
“This is a wonderful acknowledgement for Yorkton to be chosen for the very first Housing Continuum Ambassador Certificate of recognition,” said Yorkton Mayor Mitch Hippsley. “We are so fortunate to have such rich amenities in the people in our community that are the “givers & go-getters ” to create a better life by nurturing housing to all.”
