Today, Let Us LIVE!

A few years ago my brother Jim who passed years earlier came to me in a dream. Not a normal dream but the kind that is so clear you feel like you are in the same room together in real time. We were driving in a pick-up truck and he was two-legged and healthy. He turned to me and said “Sis, Don’t forget it isn’t all about work, and taking care of others make sure you really LIVE LIFE and then he opened his hand and it was full of ancient coins.. I looked closer and I knew instinctively they were ancient Roman coins. I smiled at him because I knew he was talking about my dream to go to Tuscany someday. Well, it’s been a few years since that dream and after many years of 11 hour work days, I have booked my trip to Italy for November. It doesn’t seem quite real yet but as I plan my adventures in Italia it is becoming more so every day.

I think we can get very caught up in our daily chaos and our bucket lists continue to grow without ever getting checked off. I slowly started a few years back taking my weekend road trips, discovering new places to kayak and meeting amazing spirits along the way.

When we adventure we feed our soul, the need to get outside of the box and along the way we can make some lifelong friendships we never would have had if we hadn’t shaken things up.

I will admit that Italy is my biggest adventure yet and I intend to make the best of it, exploring, learning and meeting spirits that I know will live in my heart forever.

I encourage everyone to book that flight or hotel and journey on with the knowledge that there is so much out there to learn and see and digest… and times a wasting….

Let us really LIVE our lives so that when our time comes to move on to whatever comes next we leave with a smile on our face.
