Today, i am ditching the "rules".
Yesterday evening, one of many miracles happened at the Children's hospital.
As many of you have, i have read so may times on Linkedin that non-professional content is not welcomed here; that it pollutes the feed. I often got annoyed myself reading those posts that should be on Facebook or elsewhere. Today, i am contributing to that "pollution".
A little over a year ago, one of my sons was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. After a tough battle, he was in remission and things were looking good for him. Recently, a routine follow-up MRI showed cause for concern. His oncologist saw a growing lump and suspected a cancer relapse. She wanted a biopsy done but a cold virus got in the way (coincidence? you be the judge). So she did a less-invasive camera scope yesterday.
And this is when the miracle happened. It didn't grow since the last time they looked. The affected area "looked good" and the biopsy can be delayed; at least until another MRI is done is early January.
As many around the world celebrate Christmas, we tend to forget that it is a celebration of the birth of Christ. Everyone has moments of doubt. I know i do. We'll see what the future holds. In the mean time, i believe more than ever in Christ and his ability to do miracles.
Look carefully around you and you will see plenty of small miracles happening all the time.
Merry Christmas.
