Was today a good day or a bad one?

I am sorry that I cannot add images of visual impacts to lift off my writing. I only hope to use my words correctly so as to describe what I want as best as I can.

Let's see with our minds and imagine using words instead of pictures, everyone in its own mind, how my day was today!

Well, it wasn't OK. I actually didn't do anything at all today. I only cooked two different version of two stakes. That's the good part of the day. But during my morning, I actually didn't do anything. I only ate. That's it. No cleaning the floor, no cleaning the doors with clorine. Why?

Because there was a missing element that blocked my decision of doing anything at all.

No rubber gloves the strong ones that I use to wash the dishes and glasses. Or when I use clorine. Cause the thin gloves are easily broken and don't last long.

I wanted to buy the factory ''Champion'', which was the first company to manufacture for 70 years the best rubber gloves in Greece. And I have been wearing them for 23 years. Ever since my hands were started to bleed from putting them in water so often due to cleaning my only six months son. Ever since my hands had Champion as a company.

Imagine my despair when I learnt by accident that the company is closing. What could I do and how could I protect my hands from now on?

That's why I wanted to buy the factory. Each glove manufactured was tested in England in order to pass the test and be sold in Greek market. There were very strict regulations for every glove.

And now in the year 2020, with coronavirus heading at us, I miss Champion gloves more than ever. Reliable and beautiful and a champion when hard work was required.

That's why I was so blue this day. Loosing your best friend in work is something you cannot forget and especially in needy years, you seek him more than ever. These gloves were my best friend and company for all those years.

To be continued.
