Today was an extraordinary day

Today was an extraordinary day. This morning Ferguson informed the London Stock Exchange that STARK GROUP has been sold to Lone Star.

We have at STARK GROUP celebrated getting a new owner, Lone Star and I'm very happy to share this great news with my network.I know that we stand incredibly strong with our clear focus on the professional craftsmen.

Lone Star has followed us for months, and we have during the last 14 months been able to make a turnaround. Put into numbers, we made 5,4 % growth and improved trading profit by 28% the current business year.

I have never doubted our potential and our team - and I know there is much more for us to achieve together. Part of the deal is actually that the management will stay - and continue working with the present strategy across the Nordics.

I want to send a special thanks to all my colleagues - many of you practically worked two jobs for the last several of months. Thank you.

As months of hard work has come to an end, I remind myself that finding a new owner was never a goal in itself. Giving STARK GROUP the best possible foundation to grow even further is what we have achieved by getting a new owner in Lone Star.
