Today is a day of honouring those who have lost their lives to Covid-19.

Taking moments to reflect on what’s going on can sometimes make you re-evaluate the choices you have and are making. For every day this continues, our key workers are making unbelievable sacrifices to their family and their own safety to keep US safe instead and be able to keep our main services running… Now THAT is BRAVERY AND STRENGTH.

For the key workers who have lost their battle to this illness or another work related disease or injury, their families and teams didn’t get to hear the words, "Everything is going to be alright" – which is terrifying, heart-breaking and unimaginable. I don’t think many of us thought we would be where we are now.

For all temporary workers who have worked through or are currently working through any business within the group, we salute you and thank you for your hard work and commitment. We are trying our best to support you. I wish we could do more or be quicker with our support but you have my promise I am working hard in the back ground to offer as much help as I can.

As a smaller business, initially in fear and uncertainty - we feel we acted fast and moved our team to a safe, remote home working environment like many did, we have done what we can to stay strong and keep our workforce employed, and done what we can to drive personal support and training during this time from home, we have kept in touch weekly, via phone & video conference and are staying strong together while being forced apart. This WILL make us stronger, no doubt about it.

Our/the worlds battle is not over, but taking my Managing Director hat off and focusing on my team as Glen, I will confirm that EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT. As I said from the moment we left the office, I did not spend the last 15 years of my life growing my businesses to let it be taken apart by an invisible enemy. We're side by side for the good times, so I'll be with you during the bad. "United we stand”

To any of my contacts, I really hope you are working through this as best you can to keep the ship afloat and planning the turnaround. If you want to talk, or have an open honest discussion on ways we are going to beat this and come back stronger, please drop me a message. Its times like these you wonder why you don’t share these ideas with competitors or why you haven’t asked for advice and support externally! Crazy really!
