Today, like everyday is totally unique, it will only appear this once and it is your chance to make a difference!
Of course it is not obligatory to make this day a special day however may I suggest that it is your duty to do so and by 'pushing' a tad harder, thinking a bit more laterally and creatively you might just amaze yourself. The saying of 'If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got' is a case in point.
There is one promise I can make to you, by doing the above on a consistent basis will alter and potentially greatly improve your life and the lives of those around you. However, if you approach this as a one off special day of opportunity, you might end up being a tad disappointed just like the person that joined the gymnasium, attended once and declared 'It did nothing for me' and went straight back to the couch.

9 年Great post Andy. When you put it like that it makes a lot of sense to not just think it is any other day. We all spend time just getting through days drifting from one thing to the next. Certainly makes you focus. I like to set a challenge each morning for something that I sim to achieve, be it make that difficult phonecall or try and learn something new.
