WRITER on the Hill

The truth tellers of the world are still going to write their insane thoughts, stories and essays. It is the only answer to Creation which brings us back to a spiritual force. Call it what you want as we beg for life over death. Each and every day. As a Writer I live in isolation. As I Writer the only way I can achieve writing a book is to live alone in my head. Right in the center of my head. Legal pad, pencil, pens are my weapons to open up the package of stories inside my head. Tomorrow we will invent again and again. I believe they call that creation.

A Man of Salt

I am coming to you from Boquete Panama. I am author G. Franklin Prue which is complimented by being a poet, pirate and soldier of fortune who loves to dance between the purple valley and white corner moon.

I have completed many stories like the rest of you. I like to continue to give the African-American community a voice in literature. I write in several genres, including: action/adventure, suspense/thriller, family sagas, contemporary Western, detective and literary fiction. I have published three of my novels through CreateSpace/Amazon, where they can be purchased and are reviewed. They are: A Year of Madness, Mammie Doll, and The Man from Sweet Loaf.

I am Vietnam-era veteran, who grew up and was educated in Washington D.C. He earned a B.A. in Politics, with a minor in American Literature, and an M.A. in Education Administration. He worked in the Pentagon, as a research consultant in education, litigation, defense and healthcare, in hospital administration, in non-profits serving the poor, for FEMA, and in schools, working with troubled teens. His work carried him throughout the United States.

Let’s just say I have been to many cities and countries mostly Central and South America. I later taught English to children in Honduras and I now live in beautiful Panama. Of course I continue to write, and currently getting out the word about BLOODGOOD about female soldiers of the Iraqi war who have become Contract assassins for the C.I.A. I am trained in creative writing at George Washington University and the University of Georgia. However right now I seek your nomination for my new thriller BLOODGOOD on Kindle-Scout, show me some love and nominate BLOODGOOD.

The Lemon Tree House

by G. Franklin Prue

3:15pm

evening sun is just a memory

in the house of lemons

with three pear colored shawls

boxes, toys, games

small squirrels

dash, dart

quick

flick

all done

in by the sounds of horns,

the

house

massaged like

oceans of cream

trace

sisters

with tea pots

under dogwoods

pour

nectar

from the sun
