TOC - one of the most powerful, but least understood approach to operations improvement.

My favourite learning event - the TOCICO annual conference - is taking place online this year making is much easier to attend. Rather than the planned 3 days in Paris, it will be online over 5-days from 22 to 26 June. Whilst the Q&A will be live, the presentations themselves are recorded, so you can attend to suit your diary, and attend sessions that are scheduled in parallel.

As a speaker, I can pass a great attendee price to my network of $99. This will give you online access to the presentations, the live Q&A and you can watch recordings of all the presentation up to 3 July. If you want to have longer access to the recordings, you need to pay the full attendance cost of $354 (inc 12 months TOCICO membership).

TOC is a broad field of knowledge (like 'Lean' is). The conference allows attendees to learn the basic methods of TOC, as well as hear stories from companies and governments that have used it to improve their performance.

I would go as far as saying that if you have an interest in, or responsibility for, improving performance, then you should understand TOC and be using it's methods and ideas. Some do this instinctively, but if you are like me and aren't that lucky, then why not come along?

Presentations include the experiences of companies like McDonalds, Tata Steel, BAE Systems & Boeing, in applying TOC. You will hear how hospitals and pharmacies use it to help improve healthcare, and how mathematical modeling tools can be used to help managers try different operating methods before implementing changes. You will hear how TOC's logistical and operations methods have been used to improve performance in projects, IT, retail, food services, manufacturing.

Presentations range from case studies presented by organisations themselves and by the consultants who worked with them, through to people who have used the ideas of TOC for personal development and growth, and thinkers developing new knowledge and insights. You will hear from amateurs like me, people with decades of experience, and from some of the world's leading thinkers in #TOC.

If you would like to take advantage of the speaker's discount price of $99, please drop me a PM or email and I will send you the discount code.

PS - Even if you dont want to attend the conference, but are interested in learning the basics of TOC from experts, check out this page on the conference website. It has a great range of FREE presentations from previous conferences, including introductions to the foundational TOC methods used in projects, operations, distribution, finance, problem solving, thinking, and measurements. Includes a 2 hour presentation with a great overview of TOC, by the original developer of TOC, Eli Goldratt. https://www.tocico.org/page/FREEWebinars_Conference

Hi Ian, I agree. In my view, TOC has never achieved its potential for project management and anything to redress this would be very worthwhile.
