TOASTMASTERS BRAND: 5 IMPORTANT VISUAL GUIDELINES FOR CLUBS’ PROMOTIONS

1. Logo
The Toastmasters logo is an integral piece of the brand’s visual identity, which must be used properly to deliver a consistent brand experience across the community, while also improving brand recall.
Here are some dos and don’ts:
In case you didn’t know, there is only one Toastmasters logo. Every club must use this very logo. Clubs can’t have their own logo.
2. Colours
The primary colours associated with the Toastmasters brand support Toastmasters’ core elements of leadership, dedication, and empowerment. The current brand manual was launched in May 2021 and provides interesting options on colour gradients and transparencies to create marketing materials.
3. Font
Yes, brands associate with specific fonts as those fonts offer the same visual appeal that the brands aim to offer.
For instance, Toastmasters primary font of choice is Gotham because the wide stance and geometric traits of its characters exude confidence without looking stiff or digitalised. But Gotham is not the only font you can use.

4. Photos and Images
Besides what’s given in the brand manual, clubs can use memes on their timelines, but they must be unrelated to Toastmasters. If memes include the Toastmasters logo or any Toastmasters terminology (like Toastmasters, TT Master, Ah Counter, General Evaluator, etc), please avoid using those.
Similarly, using pictures that have quotes pasted on a picture of a landscape does not agree with Toastmasters brand. Instead, use quotes as a text-only post. Or use a photo where the quote is pasted on a plain background.

5. Logo placement on photos
Going back to the example of inspirational quotes earlier, please refrain from pasting Toastmasters logo on pictures of landscapes with quotes. Such images do not comply with Toastmasters brand.
