Sridhar Ramaswamy has been appointed Snowflake’s new CEO. He and Frank sat down at the recent Company All Hands for a conversation about the transition, hosted by Snowflake Co-Founder Benoit Dageville.
Frank stepped down after five years with Snowflake and will remain Chairman of the Board. Sridhar expressed his gratitude to Frank and the rest of ELT for their support, and rallied Snowflakes toward an exciting year of the platform. “To me, our core mission of ‘We want to be the place that enterprises use to store, access, manipulate data,’ is a powerful vision,” Sridhar said.
?? Three Cheers for Three Years
The Snowflake Warsaw office recently blew out three candles with a blowout party. Over 220 Snowflakes attended the festivities that included a scavenger hunt and trivia. Behind the scenes, members of the team answered three fun questions about Snowflake Warsaw in a “Humans of Snowflake” series, which found its way to Instagram.
Since its founding in 2021, the office has tripled in size, with plans to expand even further. Dorota Jaworska, Director of EMEA Talent and HR Operations, details the importance of Warsaw as a Snowflake engineering hub in the new blog post, “Introductions to Interconnected - Warsaw’s Three-Year Journey.” Dorota shares her joys and challenges growing the team alongside Site Lead and Director of Engineering Grzegorz Kapusta after their company’s acquisition, navigating three more acquisitions, and fostering the office’s unique culture.
Meanwhile, Grzegorz sat down for a three-themed Q&A on Warsaw’s anniversary – they say the best things come in threes.

Data, and a lot of it. With over 60 global stops, Data for Breakfast is now in its eighth year of serving up the best of the Snowflake Data Cloud to data enthusiasts hungry for ways to get more out of their data.
Data for Breakfast seeks to familiarize r people who are new to Snowflake to the capabilities of the Snowflake platform. This year’s theme – “Start Your Day with AI - the Easy Way” – focuses on why the Snowflake Data Cloud is the platform of choice for enabling Al/ML initiatives.
Each stop typically features a customer speaker, panel discussions, an expo featuring Snowflake partners, and a Snowflake Genius Bar staffed with local Sales Engineers for individualized demos. We like to think of it as the breakfast of champions.

Two floors of fresh new digs for the 300-plus Snowflakes that call Dublin, CA, home, including expanded spaces for Finance, IT and HR. A larger and improved Lodge (employee cafeteria) and Snowflake’s first in-office coffee bar and barista, has Snowflakes buzzing (with excitement, not caffeine).?
