A Toast to the Future!

CHG continues to thrive and see continued growth throughout the Lowcountry, looking to the future

Charleston, S.C. September 3, 2020. Sam Mustafa, CEO of Charleston Hospitality Group (CHG), an award-winning restaurant group, is pleased to announce the expansion of one of their most popular and profitable eateries. Toast All Day, CHG’s celebratory concept driven by the desire to revel in life’s best moments, is set to expand via a nationwide franchise model. The model for multiple units is slated to be rolled out over the next four months and into 2021. Once voted best breakfast by the NY Times, Toast All Day is located downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville and West Ashley. 

Most recently Toast All Day garnered national press with People Magazine and ForbesBooks through their Full Belly, Full Hearts campaign that ran from March – May during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Area locations donated up to 10,000 free meals with the help of Limehouse Produce and Domino’s Pizza, to laid off hospitality workers, their families and frontline healthcare responders and employed up to 15% of hospitality workers at a time when restaurants were forced to close their doors.

Though recent months have been tough on the restaurant industry as a whole, Toast All Day continues to thrive and be one of the leaders in fast casual dining. Sam has come a long way since he planted his roots in Charleston and opened up his first area restaurant and Toast All Day location in January, 2005. He still attributes his success to hard work, late hours and a big dream. 

“I knew from a very young age while growing up overseas I wanted to run my own company. I was born with an entrepreneurial mindset and while I came to America to pursue an engineering degree at Southern Illinois University, it wasn’t until I started working at several fast food restaurants while supporting my family that a true passion ignited and I knew that my purpose was in the service industry.  I’m excited to expand 16 years later with the first restaurant I opened here and for other cities coast to coast to enjoy. My hope with our “Toast All Day” celebratory concept, is we become an inviting atmosphere for people to come out and celebrate the wins and moments in life that deserve a “toast.” I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited to see what the future has in store for us,” states Mustafa.
