David was delighted to be asked to join the team at Toast for their end of year event.
The software solutions company provides the only all-in-one platform built exclusively for restaurants to connect employees, operations and guests. Its aim is to help restaurateurs can stay one step ahead of a rapidly evolving hospitality market.
The event, held in its Dublin offices, was both a celebration of 2022’s successes and an opportunity to look towards the future as the company continues its extraordinary growth in Ireland.
It was focused around recognising the incredible work that its people have done in a challenging marketplace. Despite the fact that the hospitality sector has gone through so much uncertainty in recent years Toast continues to rise to the top – supporting the industry to innovate and reimagining the way the sector uses technology to grow business and make an impact.
Delivering the keynote, David was speaking alongside the Global Leadership team who had flown in for the event. Aiming to inspire and engage the team he explored the science of how we think, act and behave; looking at how we make decisions, how we communicate more effectively and ultimately how together, as individuals and teams, we can realise the collective purpose of an organisation when we are truly connected.

As a vibrant organisation Toast has spearheaded hybrid-working so for this event, while some 200 delegates were in the room, others were dialled in globally. Regardless of whether they were there virtually or in-person every single person was involved in the conversation.
Speaking after the event David said: “It was a real delight to work with the team at Toast. As a team they are incredibly switched-on and engaged and as an audience they were everything you could ask for – high energy, high octane and very receptive.
“We’re all really excited at the prospect of working with them again in the future.”
