A toast to another year of creating campaigns that matter with VCS

2022 was a special year for Vitalstrats Creative Solutions (VCS).?We turned 18 years old this year?and made new beginnings as a creative agency grounded on our core values and causes.

At the start of the year,?VCS embraced being a remote-first company. This enabled us to prioritize our health, and comfort, and manage our time more productively.?

The team also had the first huddle of the year, where we?refreshed our company strategy?as we face the year.

Though being a remote-first company doesn’t mean the team cannot safely meet each other every now and then, VCS held a face-to-face Townhall meeting where we discussed the?value of workplace transparency.

Our teammates also shared their journey in VCS to commemorate their milestones, specifically with our?recently promoted Creative Director, Jan Agulto, who has been with us for 7 years and counting, and our?Senior Finance and Human Resources Supervisor, Noemi Borrinaga, who has been with us for 10 years.?

As a women-led company that strives to be grounded on our core values, VCS acknowledged?four remarkable women who embodied strategic creativity through their work?to create an impact on their broader communities.

VCS also supported Filipino small and medium enterprises?by partnering with College of Holy Spirit of Tarlac for a webinar series?to discuss the basics of putting up your own business.

This year, we embraced our advocacies fully and took an active role as a creative partner for the?Voters’ Education campaign?spearheaded by the Ad Foundation in collaboration with the Ad Standards Council of the Philippines (ASC), the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) , the Out-of-Home Advertising Association of the Philippines (OHAAP), the UNITED PRINT MEDIA GROUP Philippines (UPMG), and various national publications and broadcast channels.?

We also?collaborated with the ADHD Society of the Philippines (ADHDSP)?as their creative partner for Metamorphosis, the first national Conference for Adult ADHD in the Philippines. The conference was then held in October, during ADHD Awareness Month.

From May to August 2022, VCS was enriched by PUP - Taguig?Marketing Management major Janelle Banalo who served as a Business Development Intern?for the team. She shared her learnings with us on our blog, and we're happy to announce that she formally joined VCS as an employee right after she graduated!?

Because VCS is now officially a remote-first company, this allowed us to?explore different 2D motion graphics?projects to boost our creativity in creating digital marketing videos. Not only is it the best choice for many brands to market products and services, but the simple visuals of 2D animation are also an effective way to explain complicated concepts easily.

We also deepened our understanding of how brands can?pick the best social media platform?to meet their business and communications objectives in this digital age. With the right digital platform, brands are able to reach their target market and effectively achieve online brand goals.

As an LGBTQIA-owned creative agency that strives to embrace a diverse team,?VCS continues to advocate for inclusivity in the workplace. We learned how inclusivity can create a ripple effect on business growth.

That's a quick glimpse of VCS' remarkable stories in 2022 as the year comes to an end. We wanted to share our progress and stories throughout the year with you and strengthen our relationships with our partners and clients as we move on to 2023. We would also like to share our learnings this year and our outlook for 2023 in our next communication with you.?
