A toast to 2023: highlights and holiday wishes

It seems like only yesterday we were wishing everyone happy holidays for 2022, and yet in the blink of an eye, another year has passed. And what a phenomenal year it has been!

In 2023 we were thrilled to welcome so many talented professionals to our expanding team including Nicholas Kerr, Paul D'Orival, Robert Skerman, Chris Dowton, Lily Webster, and Yashab Khan.

Next year, we anticipate many more extraordinary people will join us to contribute to our growing array of impactful client projects.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to all of our clients who have trusted us to navigate challenges and achieve remarkable outcomes together.

A heartfelt thank you also goes out to the entire Geodetica staff and everyone we have worked with this year. While we may be growing, we will never fail to recognise the crucial role each of you play in our combined success.

Remembering the year that was…

Attending the Ronald McDonald House Charities Canberra Charity Gala Ball in March. The event raised a record amount to support families in the ACT and Southeast NSW region who are going through the difficult journey of childhood illness.

We were honoured to sponsor the ACT SME PitchFEST hosted by the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN National).

Geodetica provides a business-incubator service offering to Australian industry start-ups that are developing a Defence or Defence-adjacent product – an initiative we are excited to reveal more about in coming months.

In December we were delighted to be part of the Mix106.3's ‘Pack the Bus’ campaign. It’s a great way to give back to our community and spread joy by supporting people in need during the holidays.

This month we were also thrilled to have one of our own, Erika Prior, receive a DGMIWS Commendation for her excellent work as a Risk Coordinator in the Project and Product Management Office, Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems Branch. Congratulations Erika!

And a final thanks to Clara Duong for supplying her beautiful cupcakes for the team to indulge in!
