To Be, Or Not To Be....
In the world of men’s fashion, there is a precarious balance between being well-dressed and overzealous. An abundance of styles and variations have emerged in modern-day fashion, and the number of ways in which to combine those styles are endless. The definition of success has evolved, and like it or not; Style continues to be defined by a combination of confidence and maturity.
We are no longer confronted with definitive trends representative of a singularly classified genre of style. These blurred lines have unfortunately resulted in what we like to call... "The Overzealous Man"; the man who wears it all, in hopes to be it all. Although "trying to hard" is admirable, poor style selections can detract from what you are hoping to achieve. Understandably, some of us struggle with this ideology. Depending on how politically correct you are choosing to be; one can successfully argue that style appropriately paired more often than not will help achieve the ultimate end-goal. He who masters this balance not only will reap the benefits of self-gratification, but the respect and acknowledgement of those around him.
The key to successful style is confidence. Overzealous-ness radiates an arbitrary aura and unsuccessful intentions. A well dressed man is confident, decisive, and forward-thinking. These ingredients, coupled with drive is my definition of style. The desire to make an impact, while being both authentic and bold will constantly attract more success. When you feel good, you are good. Why not stack the deck in your favor by making an impression before you even shake hands?
Makes sense 100% of the time, 100% of the time.
Gratitude.
