What’s up Kaizenovators,?Happy Tuesday Two Minute Drill.?Today’s topic of conversation is how to have a successful Uber experience.?I am here in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, for the Future of Chiropractic Strategic Plan Leadership meeting, and I had to take an Uber to get to the airport this morning.?
Up Your Uber Game?
I’ve taken a lot of Uber, so I thought I’d share some of my tips for successful Uber trips.?
Tip number one:?always, when you get in the car, ask the driver how they’re doing. How’s your day going? Always find a way to be nice to the driver because many times they don’t get that experience.?
Two:?always check Google Maps or some other map function to make sure that you’re going to get to where you’re going in the fastest possible way. Many times, the Uber maps don’t work as well, and you’re going to get frustrated if you’re not getting to your destination as efficiently or as quickly as you can, at least I do.?
When I see that Uber has a different map route than what I think is best, I always, in a very respectful way, tell the driver. That’s a win for you and a win for them because often you can teach the driver new ways to go that they’ve never learned about before, and they can delight their other customers.?

I did this today. 395 was always backed up. I’m going from my house to Reagan. I suggested going down Independence Avenue. It’s going to be much faster. Of course, I said it nicely, I asked them, “Do you mind going down Independence Avenue?” and we got there significantly faster.?
Every minute counts as we know, so check the maps.?
The third thing is:?If an Uber driver cancels on you, call Uber support because you can get $10 back, and sometimes even more, sometimes even $20 back.?
Lastly,?throw your driver a couple of bones if they do a good job, right? It’s always nice to give a little extra tip and give them a couple of extra bucks if they do a great job.?
Now, even though I’m a backseat driver, my Uber rating is 4.87, which is pretty good. What’s your Uber rating? You should check it out and let us know.?
All right, guys, that’s this week’s Two Minute Drill coming to you from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.?You guys have a great week, and I’ll talk to you all next week.?
