TLS Continuum Management Tip #9

TLS Continuum Management Tip #9

TLS Continuum Management Tip #9: People will avoid problem-solving opportunities if they lack problem-solving skills, haven't solved problems in the past, aren't recognized and appreciated when they do solve problems or feel threatened by the situation

?Perfect tip to align worth the Travel along the TLS Continuum newsletter of this week dealing with attitudes towards change management. It focuses on a true basis of reactions to the changes we are asking for.

?When you start a continuous process improvement effort, one basic task is to gain knowledge of the process. That knowledge comes in two forms. First, you need to understand what the process is. The improvement kata tells us that we need to understand what the process is telling us. Second, you need to understand how to go about resolving the system constraints. That only happens when you understand the skills required to do so. Further every member of the cross-functional team and everyone in the organization must feel that the human capital assets are appreciated for the non-owned, leased corporate assets that they are.
