OUR SUPPORTER KAREN SHEEN FUNDRAISING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

A huge shoutout to the incredible Karen Sheen from the Crafty Pair.

We had the pleasure of meeting Karen and her friend Liz at one of our Pamper Day events for cancer patients and friends at the end of last year. Inspired by our cause, Karen immediately reached out, asking how she could lend her support to our charity.

Karen has been using her crafting skills to create pocket hugs for our coffee shop at the Elgar Centre in Northampton. They are so popular; Karen has been doing regular top ups!

These items have already raised an incredible ￡134.60! This will help to fund 37 gift packs for adult cancer patients in hospitals.

Karen, we can't express our gratitude enough for making a difference in the lives of those diagnosed with cancer. Thank you for making a real difference in our community.

WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MADE THE COST OF A GIFT AT ￡3.60

Despite the challenges of a rising cost of living, we're excited that this year, we can share that we are able to keep the cost of our gift packs at an affordable ￡3.60! We are committed to providing a wide selection of gifts for cancer patients attending appointments, treatments and hospital stays?

About 95% of the items in our gift packs are purchased, ensuring a wide variety for our recipients. We're proud to share that our amazing suppliers continue to support us by providing essential items at affordable prices. With their support, we can maintain this price.

Exciting News! We're thrilled to welcome Metro Bank (UK) to The Lewis Foundation Business Club!

Their monthly donation of ￡36 supports 10 adults undergoing cancer treatment, making a huge impact in their lives.

STUDENTS FROM THE PLACE TO BEE CONTINUE THEIR PLACEMENTS WITH OUR CHARITY

Great to have Billy and Stephen from The Place To Bee, Northampton back after the festive break in our outlet store Grosvenor Shopping Northampton

This experience was focused on giving students with learning difficulties real life work experience to gain retail experience to enable them to enter the world of work.

Both students have joined us on Fridays since August last year and it has been wonderful to see them grow in skills and confidence. It also has been a chance to learn about the importance of how the work they are doing in the store helps to support cancer patients.

We are open every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 am to 2 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 11am.

Our products have been kindly donated by businesses and individuals to help raise funds for our charity. Items we receive are end of line or excess stock. There is nothing wrong with them, companies just no longer want them and for us it is about working in partnership with businesses to promote sustainability, whilst giving back to the community.

"I was admitted as an emergency to Talbot Butler Ward. I was not expected to be admitted. I had nothing with me and no one who could bring me any toiletries.

I received the The Lewis Foundation pack, which contained toiletries as well as puzzles to pass the time. This was an incredible gift which made a difference at a difficult time. The contents are well thought out and just what someone needs when they are stuck in hospital.

The pack certainly made my time in hospital much easier and it is so lovely to know there are people doing such lovely things for patients."
